Process and applications
Bending consists in allowing a flat sheet of heated glass to sag under the influence of gravity, after placing it on a mold whose shape corresponds to that of the curved volume to be obtained.
The bending is carried out on metallic moulds or special moulds made of resistant materials. These moulds enable the production of a wide range of curved glazing products for the home and interior design industry.
